Pregnancy Hightlights : Week 25

Due Date:
August 17, 2011

Size of baby:
Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.

Maternity Clothes:
My days of normal pants with a belly band are over. It took a couple of uncomfortable days for me to come to the realization, but I have. Onto maternity pants full time now!

It's confirmed - A GIRL!!

Anything in the fridge.
Back pain and acid reflux.

We had my appointment last week and guess what? My doctor said she wants to see me again in a few weeks and then I'll start going every other week! WHAAA!? Do you know what this means? It means this pregnancy is nearing an end! HOW. DID. THIS. HAPPEN? Pretty exciting though:)

Best Moment(s) this week:
Realizing that things are changing. Clipping my toenails isn't so easy. Getting up from the papasan chair requires a bit more effort. I'm entering into the first uncomfortable stage of this pregnancy. I'm blessed to be able to say I haven't had bad moments until now - I still can't call them bad. I just need to figure out how to sit so my back doesn't hurt! Um.. try straight up instead of slouching. Oh yeah. Ok:)
